Why Join the Fourth Degree?
The Fourth Degree is the highest and most prestigious degree of the Knights of Columbus, and membership is one of the greatest honors a Knight can receive. Known as the Patriotic Degree, it calls men to a deeper expression of their Catholic faith through love of God and country.
As a Fourth Degree Sir Knight, you join a brotherhood of men committed to serving their Church, their community, and their nation. Members participate in color corps, honor guards, and patriotic events that visibly represent the Catholic faith in the public square, including Masses, funerals, civic ceremonies, and more.
If you are a Third Degree Knight in good standing, you are eligible to take the Fourth Degree. We encourage you to consider this step, not just as an honor, but as a call to more visible, more purposeful service.
