On October 25th, Council #11470 in Georgetown collected approximately 60 pounds of donated items, and $250 in cash. And on October 30th we collected another $100, for a total of $250.
What makes today’s donation so extraordinary, the donor is from Brandenburg Ky. They were so inspired; they mailed their check donation to our council.
Similarly, The Not Alone Pregnancy Center emailed and expressed their appreciation, and included the impact they have on our community. Here is an excerpt of what they shared via email.
“We have Mothers, Fathers, Grandparents, and sometimes Foster parents that need help with formula, diapers, wipes, baby clothes etc.
Recently we had a lady call and ask about an abortion. We explained we were 100% pro-life, and we talked for a few minutes. Fast forward, she came and visited the center and said that we had changed her mind and that she was keeping her baby. Thank you so much for your huge donation. It is greatly appreciated and will help many!”
