On the Saturday evening of the Summer Seminar, the State Officers and District Deputies were installed into their offices by State Deputy Frank Shay. The ceremony was included in the Mass. Bishop Foys became ill shortly before Mass and was unable to celebrate so Fr. Schomaker, Vicar General, was the celebrant.
