Brothers from council 10682, St. Louis Bertrand, purchased an ultrasound machine for the Little Way Pregnancy Resource Center on Oak Street in Old Louisville.  Their parish, St Louis Bertrand, has long been a supporter of The Little Way and all they do. Ellen Wickman is their Executive Director and does an great job with her 20 volunteers.

This sonogram machine is amazing.  It is a GE Sonogram machine and is  the latest in that technology. It will let an expectant mother see her baby 5 weeks after conception. It has already saved a number of babies. They raised $16,500 which was matched by Supreme (through the Ultrasound Initiative) to make the $33,000 purchase.

There was an open house on June 26 at The Little Way with a number of their board members and Knights present. Father Frank Ralph brought God’s blessing to  the machine.

Divine Mercy Council 11591 hosted a 2^nd/3^rd Degree Exemplification on Saturday, June 18, at St. Thomas More Church in Paducah.  Congratulations to those men who participated!

Council #16125 in Knottsville picked up trash over 5 miles of highway to raise $650 for various causes they will donate to this year.

Assembly 2008 celebrated the One Rose One Life Prayer Service at their June Meeting.   Faithful Friar Father Pius Poff was the celebrant and Past DD SK Ken Rosenbaum led the service.  The Prayer Service Reader was newly elected FN SK Joe Ledweg.

The Faithful Knights in attendance were most grateful to be a part of  this national K of C Program as the Silver Roses  travels throughout the entire USA and is making its way across  KY on its travels to Mexico.
