This is the scene of 148 golfers getting ready to tee off at the 8th Annual Northern Kentucky Combined Knights of Columbus Golf Outing at Twin Oaks Golf Course. This event benefits the Lifeline project of Catholic Charities. The Lifeline project helps pregnant mothers who need assistance. Last year we raised $10,000.00, and although final figures are not in yet, we are hoping to do well again this year.
A 4th Degree Exemplification was held on July 23 at Christ the King in Lexington. Congratulations to our new 4th Degree Sir Knights!
Grand Knight John Doubrava of Bishop Ackerman Council #5453 presented to Father Nicholas Rottman a donation check for $6,384 for Holy Donut sales at the Immaculate Heart of Mary Summer Festival in Burlington, KY.
On July 16, 1816, the cornerstone was laid for the Basilica of St. Joseph Proto-Cathedral in Bardstown, KY. This past weekend the Knight of Columbus were there to help celebrate the 200th anniversary of this important event!

Council #817 in Owensboro would like to thank their outgoing officers for 50 combined years of service! On Sunday, July 10, Council #14130 from Christ the King delivered a load of much needed cleaning supplies and personal care items to Catholic Charities in Elkview, WV. On the receiving end they had a team of people from Our Lady of the Hill to assist with unloading.
