As many of you know, our State Chaplain, Fr. Mario Tizziani had a stroke on 8/29 and is still in ICU. You can get updates on St. Cecilia’s Facebook Page here. Below is information from that page inviting everyone to a prayer vigil for Fr. Mario’s healing.

REMINDER- Please join us on TONIGHT at 7pm to lift our dear friend Fr. Mario Tizziani up in prayer. Bring your family and share it with your friends. This event will be live-streamed from our Parish Facebook page for those who are unable to attend. A prayer box will be located in the Narthex for anyone wishing to leave a card for Fr. Mario or his family. You may also send him get well wishes via St. Elizabeth’s website (https://www.stelizabeth.com/patients-visitors/create-a-care-card). Jesus, we trust in YOU!

On July 18, 2020, State Deputy Steve Zanone held the Organizational Meeting at Cardome Center in Georgetown. Due to the Coronavirus, things were done differently than from the organizational meetings of the past. We practiced social distancing, wore masks, we did not shake hands or eat buffet style food.

Steve also made arrangements for the meeting to be streamed live for those that could not attend in-person for health precautions. The materials that were presented at that meeting are available to view and download here.

During the meeting, Steve installed the District Deputies both in-person and virtually. We all look forward to the day we can go back to meetings as normal, but State Deputy Steve Zanone did a great job in adapting the meeting format to accommodate our current situation.
