Below is a photo of the Knights of Columbus delivering two checks for $20,169.30 each (a total of $40,338.60) to the New Hope Center.  These funds will be used to purchase a new Ultrasound machine, which should be here in 3 or 4 weeks!  The Knights are working to schedule a blessing ceremony with the Bishop.

This project was spearheaded by Bishop Ackerman Council, with Mulloy Council, MQH Council, St. Timothy Council, and Bishop Flaget Assembly participating.

Saint Teresa of Kolkata’s spiritual writings and deep prayer life have inspired StMM KofC #15979 Brother Robert D. Barnell since he was in college.

Robert is both KofC Father Michael J. McGivney Vocations Scholarship and KofC Refund Support Vocations Program (RSVP) Awardee.

Council 14130, Christ the King in Lexington, used their VIP recruiter points from the last two years to purchase three new flags for the council. The council has had two great years with recruiting and Supreme has offered councils additional VIP points for meeting certain recruitment goals. The cost of the flags would have been $375 if the council did not have the VIP points.

Council 14130, Christ the King in Lexington, held their installation of officers on Monday evening. Bishop John Stowe was in attendance.

StMM Council #15979 Louisville welcomed an unexpected visitor, Brother Robert Raldiris, Puerto Rico DD #12, from Monsenor Pedro Maria Berrios Council #6110 on July 27th for their Business Meeting and Guest Speaker presentation following.

Robert, at center in photo, was in town for the week helping his daughter move into a nearby Apartment. Brother Robert is holding the Door Prize he won by chance that evening; a DVD of the “Fire Proof” movie and “The Love Dare” Book.

It was a pleasure to have KofC Brother Knight Robert Raldiris join us for the evening.
