Robert A. Whelan was named Membership Director of the Year for 2014-2015.
Former District Deputy Paul McCavick received an award from SD Frank Shay and IPSD Bill Schmidt recognizing his accomplishment of recruiting 61 members in the previous two years.

Officer Installation at Council 14993
The officers of council #14993 were installed on July 20th by District Deputy Eric Ritchie.
Council #5071 Baby Shower
For the month of June, Sacred Heart Council #5071 held a Baby Shower to collect baby items for the Heart and Soul Life Center. The Center provides much needed items to new mothers and mothers-to-be. The Center provides life skills training along with other support. The Heart and Soul Life Center is located in Eastern Kentucky of Manchester. The Baby Shower was very successful this year, as we doubled our donation from last year.
