Council 5071 visit
State Deputy Frank Shay visited Council 5071 on September 22nd. At the meeting they received the McGivney and Columbian Awards. The council is heavily involved in Special Olympics.
Council 15484 visit
State Deputy Frank Shay visited council #15484 in Calhoun on September 21st. The council donated $1,000 to repaint the ceiling in St. Sebastian Church.
Council 16274 visit
The Father Roy Dentinger Council 16274 named after Fr. D held its first business meeting last night. The council is unique in that it is named in honor of Father D and also in that it has amongst its Charter members Archbishop Kurtz, state Deputy Frank Shay and State Chaplain Fr. Mario. The council has a great group of officers and some exciting plans. Since forming the council has grown by sixteen new members.
