Bishop Mulloy Council #1301 presented a plaque to Paul Grimme to honor his 75th Anniversary of becoming a member of the Knights of Columbus. Paul is currently the longest-serving member of the KY KofC.
Bishop Flaget Council planted lilies in front of St Bernadette Catholic Church for Easter. And they followed the guidelines staying at least 6 feet apart. Well done!
Supreme Knight Carl Anderson asked State Deputy Cameron Peck to contact the Little Sisters of the Poor ‘s Saint Joseph home and see what they need and try to help them out. The state deputy immediately contacted District Deputy Joe Carter and asked him head up this endeavor because Joe is very familiar with the Sisters in Louisville. Joe contacted Mother Paul and found out what she needed and then put out a plea to the district deputies in the Louisville area asking them to get their councils involved in obtaining the supplies needed. The Supreme Council is trying to source some of the more difficult items such as N95 masks, gloves, and non-contact thermometers.
Joe has delivered five hand truck carts full of supplies and is still collecting. They can still use toilet paper, paper towels, disposable exam gowns, masks, and gloves. If you would like to help donate to the cause, please contact Joe carter or Cameron Peck.
Council #15979 has arranged to donate 20 gallons of hand sanitizer to the Saint Joseph Home to help protect the health of the residents and the staff.

At the 4th Degree Exemplification on February 8th, District Master Bill Schmidt elevated 29 men to the 4th Degree. This exemplification was extra special to Bill because his son, Curtis Paul, was one of the men becoming a 4th degree member. Bill’s father is also a 4th degree member and at the banquet following the exemplification, Bill presented Curtis Paul with the sword of the 4th degree that was passed down to him when he became a 4th degree member many years ago.
Our General Agent Daniel Schachle volunteered his time and his airplane to fly Fr. Gervan Menezes and the Blessed Sacrament above the Diocese of Nashville during the coronavirus outbreak.

Council 14993 in Erlanger dedicated a tree on March 8, 2020 at Mary Queen of Heaven parish to Brother Jerry Marshall who passed away on March 9, 2019. He was the council’s first Financial Secretary and also a member of Bishop Flaget Assembly 307. Father Niby Kannai, council chaplain, blessed the tree and the chalice from the assembly, which will be presented to a seminarian/priest by his daughter.
