Veterans Appreciation Social Honors Service Members in Northern Kentucky
Bishop Flaget Assembly #307 hosts inaugural event celebrating local veterans
Bishop Flaget Assembly #307 of Northern Kentucky held their first annual Veterans Appreciation Social on November 9th at Fr. Bealer Council hall. The event brought together veterans and family members from Northern Kentucky Knights of Columbus councils, creating a memorable evening of recognition and fellowship.
Event Highlights
The social featured three distinguished speakers, including keynote speaker Retired U.S. Army Colonel Paul Kremer of Council 15211. Veterans were invited to share memorabilia from their military service, resulting in an impressive display of military history and personal stories.
Through generous donations and split-the-pot raffle ticket sales, funds were raised to benefit the Archdiocese for the Military Services, USA. The donation will be presented on behalf of Bishop Flaget Assembly.
Purpose and Vision
The event served a dual purpose:
- Honoring local veterans for their service and sacrifice
- Promoting awareness of the patriotic degree within the Knights of Columbus
“This event represents our commitment to recognizing the service of our veterans and strengthening our patriotic values within the Knights of Columbus community,” noted Dustin Reed, Faithful Navigator.
