We had a very successful 4th-degree exemplification in Louisville on Saturday, June 21, 2025. On that day, 39 men became Sir Knights. The exemplification was hosted by Monsignor Bouchet Assembly 308, and we brought in new 4th degree members for assemblies 308, 309, 310, 2008, 2834, 3075, 3877, and 3929. Assembly 3877, led by Faithful Navigator Jim Brian, brought in 18 new Sir Knights.
A big thank you goes out to Faithful Navigator of 308, Tim Gahlingher, for all his work organizing this event.
The exemplification started at 10 am, Fr. Gary Padget and Fr. Van Tran (brand new 4th degree knight) celebrated Mass at 12:15, and we had a great buffet lunch following.
I would like to extend a special thank you to State Deputy Luke Williams and Former District Masters Joe Carter and Gary Dykhuis for assisting me with the knighting of the candidates.
Our Class Honoree was Former District Master Joe Carter. What a good choice.
I also had the pleasure of awarding the Civic Award for 2024 for Archangels Assembly #3877 in person. The award was accepted by field agent and brand new Sir Knight Lee Rivette.
